Do you call GE or Best Buy. I went to GE’s website and they said contact retailer.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mineral deposits build up inside where the auger turns. Eventually this will make the auger stop turning and strips the gear inside the gear box. The gear box has several gears. The one that will strip is the first one that the pin on the motor turns to start turning all of the gears to turn the auger. You will need to get a gear made.
