A:AnswerHi - Thank you for having purchased this beautiful microwave for your home. We regret to hear you're having difficulty seeing inside when the unit is in operation. The microwave is designed to accept a 30 watt bulb. We would not recommend replacing the existing bulb with one of higher wattage as the microwave has not been tested for reliability or safety when doing so. All our best! Vikki@GEA
A:AnswerHi there - This is a really great question! There is not a rice button, however, the Steam feature can be used to cook rice. Thanks for checking! -Mikayla@GEA

A:AnswerHi there! Congrats on your new microwave and range! We're sure that you're going to love them both! Many microwaves come with protective film on the outside of the door and around the control panel. There may also be blue tape on the inside the door around the window that should be removed as well. We hope that this is helpful and that you're staying safe! If you have any other questions or concerns about your new appliances, feel free to send us an email or reach out to us on social media. All the best! -Michae@GEA
A:AnswerHi Misty, thanks for reaching out! All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Therefore, any of our 30" over-the-range models will work as a replacement for an existing 30" over-the-range model. This makes choosing a replacement microwave easy! NOTE: When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. - We think that you'll really like the following model. Search for it a see what you think: PVM9179SKSS. We hope that this helps! Stay safe. -Michael
A:AnswerHello, The top mount has 3 screws for installation. Additionally we had a previous GE microwave and had hoped to use the existing wall bracket but this microwave was slightly taller then the out going one so we had to install the new bracket which sits lower on the wall due to height difference.
A:AnswerHello, thank you for your question! The controls for this microwave are located on the door. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. – CV
