Hello JasWhite - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. To have the water heated ahead of time, you can download the GE Kitchen App (available through the Apple App Store and Google Play). Using the App, you can schedule hot water for any day and any time, and the refrigerator will maintain the hot water for 15 minutes. You have to buy a special part and connect It on top of the frig and then hook it up w the pp to your phone.
