If the surrounding noise level is low, you may hear a low hum from a cooling fan that automatically turns on to cool internal parts. Also, the oven has been designed to maintain a tighter control over the oven's temperature. You may hear the oven's heating elements "click" on and off more frequently than in older ovens to achieve better results during baking, broiling, convection, and self-clean cycles.
