Hello Suko - Thank you for stopping by. It will be a pleasure to provide more information. Drawers underneath the cooktop should be at least 7/16" from the bottom of the cooktop. This would be 3-11/16" depth from the surface of the countertop. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - John@GEA
