Hi - Great question! Here are the specifications for the drain: you will need a drain capable of eliminating 10 gallons (38 L) per minute and a standpipe diameter of 1 1/4" (3.18 cm) minimum. The standpipe height above the floor should be: minimum height of 24" (61 cm) and a maximum height 96" (244 cm). We hope you choose this wonderful combo unit for your home. It has a standard washing machine drain hose 3/4 inch.
