Theoretically yes. However higher humidity conditions may cause the machine to work harder and you may have to dry your clothes on a longer cycle or run a second dry cycle.

We do not recommend installing the UltraFast Combo unit in an area exposed to dripping water or outside weather conditions. The unit should not be stored or operated in temperatures below 32 degrees F or above 110 degrees F. For the best drying performance, it should be installed in an area that has an ambient temperature above 60 degrees F. There is no issue with installation of the Combo in high humidity environments, like Florida or a bathroom. The overall temperature of the space is a cause for concern in this situation. Because we don't know the temperature range of your garage, we cannot answer your question with 100% certainty. We recommend taking this information into consideration when making your final decision. If you have any additional questions, please let us know. We're here to help! Julia@GEAppliances
