You need to turn off the autodispense and in the drawer there is the option of adding other type of detergent. Just put the other detrgent in the compartment that says detergent and not in the circular one that is for autodispence.

If you'd like to use a different detergent, you can press the SmartDispense Detergent button on the control panel until its light turns off which indicates the SmartDispense feature has been turned off. Set the flap in the detergent compartment to the type of detergent to be used, either powder or liquid and add the desired amount of detergent into the detergent compartment. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you are filled with one liquid then yes you are stuck unless you turn the auto dispenser off and add the other liquid to the drum. You could also add liquid as you go.
