Hi - We are deeply sorry to hear you have concerns regarding the noise this unit makes and with the dry performance. Please double check to be sure the shipping bolts and brackets were removed from the unit when it was delivered and installed. Leaving either the brackets or shipping bolts in could cause excessive noise. We also recommend connecting your unit to your WiFi and our SmartHQ app to ensure you have received the latest over-the-air update which may improve your drying performance. If you continue to have issues, please call GE Appliances Service at 1-800-432-2737 to schedule a service appointment. We are confident our service technicians can help. Wishing you the very best! Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Only when spinning it should be noisy (rotational noise) is there water in the bottom of the tub? If so, make sure that the drain tube is not too far down where water can touch the end. Things "feel" a little damp, but you just shake it a couple of times and its fine.
