Hello- Thank you for your question and your interest in the new Ultrafast Combo unit! This amazing unit has an industry first UltraFresh System with Microban® Antimicrobial Technology to help prevent odors and ensure the Combo stays fresh and clean load after load. Eliminating having to worry about mold or bad odors. However, if you run a wash only cycle, we recommend leaving the door propped open to help dry out the interior. Of course, wiping down the gasket is recommended from time to time. If you run a wash and dry cycle, you won't have to leave the door open because the drying portion of the cycle will help to dry out the interior. If you have any additional questions or need anything else feel free to reach out and let us know. Dianna@GEA
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is still moisture inside the tub after a cycle. We have been leaving the door cracked to assist in drying. The plastic parts of the tub are supposed to be mold resistant so time will tell.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i would prob leave the door open regardless of what cycle you run. there tends to be some moisture still in the seal at the door even after running the dryer. i would also recommend leaving the soap and softener drawers open if you're not going to use it within a day. there is residual water in the drawers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO you do not need to leave the door open, with the new technology, the inside is completely dry when you remove your laundry which is AMAZING!
