“Can this unit be placed on its side for transport? As we live in Canada and would need to transport it ourselves, we can't find this anywhere here nor does anyone know what we're talking about.”

There are 4 bolts that are holding the drum in place so in theory I think you'd be ok - however I'd go to the GE website and look up the manual or contact them directly to confirm this is possible.

This unit can be transported laying down on it's side or back as long as the shipping bolts and brackets remain in place. They should not be removed until you are ready to slide the Combo into it's final location in your home. Our current plan is to have this product available for purchase in Canada by years end or early next year (2024).
