It has an attached tube on the back of the washer that goes into the drain. It also includes a U bend hose clip.

Water discharge is comparable to a standard frontload washer for this capacity so it is as safe for septic systems that have functioned properly with residential washers. You would need to purchase two water hoses separately. Please review the “Parts Required” section on pg. 22 of the owner’s manual to obtain the correct part numbers needed for installation.
