“Hi, I have a door opening measuring 27" that the unit would have to pass through to get to it's final destination. Can the door be temporarily removed to reduce the 28" width to at least 27"?”

31" front to back (not including the washer/dryer door itself)and 28 side to side. Its not a square box...It bellows out a bit at the door. If your door opening is 27 at the door stop molding, removal of door frame may be needed to pass through.
