I understand acidic solutions like vinegar are big no but how about baking soda, if I use oxiclean do I put it in the drum before the clothes or in compartment where the detergent goes? null

Hello - Thanks for taking the time to reach out. We don't recommend using baking soda with the Combo. For help with how to properly clean the Combo, please follow the instructions in the "Care and Cleaning" section on pages 19-21 of the Owner's Manual.

When using the Sanitize w/ Oxi Cycle, the Oxi powder should be placed directly in the drum before clothes are loaded. Please let us know if you have additional questions. Best regards! -Don@GEAppliances
