Why is it so deep? Looks great—but it’s too deep to fit in the laundry closet where my problem probed 4.5 cu ft LG washer/dryer combo sits. 28.25” deep v. 32” is the difference. :( null

Also note that this unit won’t have a vent hose behind it, so at least compared to my previous stacked gas dryer unit, this one can be approximately 5” deeper and still fit in the same space.

Hello - For the Combo, closet doors must be louvered or otherwise ventilated and have at least 60 square inches (387.1 cm2) of open area.
