“Im planning to take this overseas that mainly uses 220v. I should not have a problem using a step down transformer correct? Im so impressed with the product and dont mind paying extra to use it to Philippines which uses 220v.”

As long as the power going into the machine is 115v it won’t know the difference. The average wall outlet is attached to over 300,000v through a series of substation transformers, pad mounted transformers and pole mounted residential transformers. It won’t know if you added another. Machine is rated for use at 115v 15A as long as you have 8A available at your 220v SINGLE PHASE supply feeding your transformer you should be good.
