Geek squad installed mine now it’s flooded my laundry room twice in 3 days. Take your chances, you can’t do any worse than Best Buy/Geek Squad.

Hello- Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our 7" RightHeight Riser. This is a great addition to your washer and dryer. We don't recommend laying the washer on its side. It is best to lay the washer on its back on a protective surface and be sure the leveling legs are threaded in to minimum height position. It is also fine to install the riser after you've used the washer.
