Hello - this is Nancy at GE and I am happy to help you. This is a stack rack, whereby you can place a spacemaker dryer over a space saving washer. They are two separate units. The electric dryer comes in both 240 Volts and 120 Volts and will need to be vented to the outside. If you get a portable washer, it comes with a uni-couple that can be connected to your sink faucet. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Back in 2006 I purchased the portable which can also be stationary washer WSLP1100D0WW and the 110 volt dryer. I did get the stack rack but we miscalculated on measurements and wasn't aware it had to be anchored to the wall; we changed the cabinet above, contractor devised a shelf where the washer fit under and the dryer was secured on the shelf giving a stack appearance. This washer is great; pump was replaced and the service tech showed me how to clean it out to not ruin it again with loose change and misc stuff left in pockets. The tube has 3 filters in the walls that catch quite a bit of lint; clean them, pop them back in. Wheel it to the sink, use the faucet attachment, the water will eject into the sink. Be careful to not have the drain strainer in the sink or anything else that can cause the water not to drain. Best washer I've ever had.
