Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi! Thanks for reaching out to ask. There is a switch on the side of the mixer that you can pull back to unlock the head. Once it's unlocked, you can then tilt it back to better access what's been mixed in the bowl. When you lower the head back down, the unit will automatically lock into place. Should you need to unlock the head again, you can simply pull that same switch and raise it. Should you need to stop the mixer, you can turn the dial to 0 or unplug it. We hope this is helpful!
