Hi there, and thanks for reaching out with this great question – we appreciate your interest in the dishwasher! This model does feature indicator lights and sounds – a ‘Clean’ light, ‘Sanitized’ light, end-of-cycle signal, etc. The sounds can be muted if you wish, by pressing the Dry Boost pad 5 times within 5 seconds. Generally, the lights will be on if the dishwasher is operating; we regret any inconvenience that may cause. There is also a Sabbath mode to put the dishwasher to ‘sleep’ so the control display, sounds and interior lights won’t respond to the door opening and closing, if necessary.
