Hi. I’m sorry I don’t have an answer for you. I’m responding in the hopes that the question will get an answer if two of us are asking. I just had this unit - GUD24ES - installed yesterday and I’m trying to figure out the same thing: Is there a way to get a long pre-soak? The unit has a 15 minute pre-soak selection that you can choose for any cycle, but when I do a stubbornly -stained load I’m used to being able to stop the cycle after the water has completed filling and there’s been time for the detergent/bleach to get evenly distributed. Sometimes I want to soak things for an hour, or half hour, not only the 15-min option that’s available on this unit. I hope someone answers this. I’m trying to figure out all sorts of quirky things on this unit! Youtube videos that are annoying and focus more on the bad installation job, or just plain WRONG information.
