Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There's a add-on switch that has to be purchased. The main switch will go on the line that comes from the circuit breaker. The add-on switch will go on the line that heads out to the light. So be expected to pay about 20 buck on top of the price you're paying for the smart switch. On a side note: There's a z-wave switch made by Zooz that will use your exiting switch in a 3-way lighting situation. So you're only buying one switch. I hear that you have to change a wire or two at the second switch but you're not required to buy an add-on switch to get it to work.
