• You have to have a Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy Note5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, or Galaxy S6 edge+ phone. Other than that, nothing is required to play the majority of apps and games. However, some games will require a Bluetooth controller in order to play.

• does he have a compatible device if he does have one then he does not need anything else though i would recommend a google play card so he can get games with it.
