VR stands for Virtual Reality you put a compatible phone in it and then play available games or tours.

3-D/Virtual Reality viewer used with certain Samsung phone. Basically, the phone operates the app while the goggles create the 3-D effect. There are several videos on youtube that review the VR, but this is really something you have to try yourself to get the full scope. The youtube examples really don't show the "wow-ness" many people get when they first try the VR.
