• No, it’s infrared. Which is fine and useful and safe as long as it doesn’t shine on people - which it doesn’t because it’s totally concealed inside the unit. No osmosis or ionization functions, which are bad because they increase lung-damaging ozone.

• Our units do not use Ionizers, therefore they do not create ozone which can be harmful.
