Hi. Does the machine itself come apart so I can clean behind the back grate and clean the fan? I know the filters come out but on a lot of models you can not clean the fan part so dust just builds up. null

I use a vacuum on mine to suction where I cannot reach. No, you cannot get to the fans or motor. I would think this would be a safety feature.

You do not have access to the fan. We advise the filter gets cleaned once a month and to vacuum out the cavity where the filter sits also. This will help with any access dust.
