This unit is not designed to cool the air. It does promote a light breeze as it does have a fan to purify the air, but it will not cool the room.

I have looked everywhere for a humidifier that has effects that help with asthma for me and my family and I would definitely recommend this one as it also protects your family against mold and mildew and the filters are easily ordered online so you don't even have to go out to buy them you could have them sent directly to your home. This product I would definitely recommend getting especially if you have an environment that is dry and have any kind of allergies as my family does just running it for a day I have noticed a difference with all of us and I haven't even used my inhaler since I bought it. I would definitely recommend this for you and your family. it also offers a two-year protection on it that I would recommend because if anything should go wrong it can be replaced with the same thing or some of the same value and again as far as with the filters you can order them online and do not have to worry about going out of your home to get them they can be ordered and sent directly to your home.
