Make sure you either have it on a hard surface like a desk or a cooling pad. Don't leave this on your lap, blanket, or anything else that could prevent proper air circulation. The edges will be hot from moving all that heat. This will help tremendously in keeping your GPU temp down. If you're up over 80, you should probably consider a cooling pad.

Please try again later.Most gaming laptops will get quite hot when running games because no matter how hard the manufacturer tries, most laptops just can't get the airflow necessary to cool the components fast enough. Best bet is to get a cooling pad (a pad with a bunch of fans in it) to sit on and it should help lower the temperature quite a bit. Ideally you don't want the CPU above 80 C and you don't want the GPU above 85 C
