• A:Answer The hdmi is 2.0 according to the spec sheet. The display port is connected directly to the GPU. Not sure about the hdmi.

• A:Answer Mine did. I had to reach out to Gigabyte and send them a copy of the receipt (my particular unit was already registered to the prior user who returned it). Once I provided that, they updated the owner in their system, and they said the warranty will be effective as of my purchase date. I have similar experiences with Asus and Dell products I’ve bought open box before.

• A:Answer This laptop comes with a port for a 2nd m.2 drive that pcie 3.0 so any m.2 that gen 3 or gen 4 is ok, which ever you can find at a good price. They also use Crucial ram in their laptops so i bought the same brand in 32gb (2×16) off of amazon for just about $100. Just make sure to use dual channel.

• A:Answer Make sure you either have it on a hard surface like a desk or a cooling pad. Don't leave this on your lap, blanket, or anything else that could prevent proper air circulation. The edges will be hot from moving all that heat. This will help tremendously in keeping your GPU temp down. If you're up over 80, you should probably consider a cooling pad.

• A:Answer The 8GB GDDR6 must be discrete and dedicated to the RTX4060 GPU as the system memory is DDR5. I do not know of any mobile GPU in the RTX 4000 series that uses system memory only.
