I'm running it on PCIe3 with no issues so far. The testing a lot of tech Youtube creators did showed minimal performance hit on Gen 3 verse Gen 4. Uses standard 8 pin from your PSU and takes up 2.5 slots.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Heck no. It is a LARGE 2X (plus) slot card that will fully span an ATX motherboard. (It was a tight fit in my (full ATX) tower PC case. It also requires an 8 pin PCI cable connection (from the PSU) to help supply the 150w of power draw it demands for operation. While it is a PCIe4 card, it is backwards compatible with PCIe3 card slotted systems. (Seriously, you must have been looking at a fanless GT 710 graphics card as, your suppositions are not even close to a guess as to the parameters of this BIG, 3 cooling fan, graphics card.)
