• Spec's say DDR4, so no upgrade path in that regard. The good news is, the real world performance is pretty much the same, and upgrading to more ram is less than half the price for DDR4.

• Hi Customer, This laptop is equipped with 16GB of DDR4 Ram. DDR4 and DDR5 are not cross compatible so you will only be able to upgrade it with higher speed/capacity DDR4 memory. Hope this helps! - John
