Hi Sam, This laptop does support Gen 4.0 NVMe. The M.2 2280 references the connector & the sizing (22mm wide 80mm long) This is the most common size for m.2's and thats whats found in this laptop. Hope this helps! - John
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.2280 is the size of the SSD. This can do 2280,2260,2242. Gen 4 and lower will work fine. And yeah it will fit. There are tamper stickers but I don't think it will void the warranty.
