There is software to do this for you automatically. Or you can manually set the windows of your applications on the screen. Windows automatically will split the screen if you drag the app to the left or right sides of the screen. This is true for any monitor.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can resize the windows and have 2 side by side- Like have a word document open next to an Internet window. I have done 3 documents/internet windows split 3 ways comfortably. I think you can also attach 2 different computers to it and split the screen that way. But it does not natively support treating the screen like 2 different screens for the same computer. I use Citrix applications and I was going to split the screen and have 1 app on each side for work but I had to manually resize the windows. You can also play around with Windows PowerToys app (designed by Microsoft) and use Fancy Zones. You can setup a layout for your screen however you want and makes it easier to snap windows into each zone. So you could easily have 3 way split vertically or horizontally.
