Does it put off heat? Will it make your room hot? null

It’s hot, 101F at the base of the monitor in the back, screen temp is 109F and top rear vent is 116F on a calibrated laser temp gun. It significantly heats up my desk top.

If it does you may want to consider return/exchange. Excessive heat seems unusual.

No more than what your gpu will put off trying to handle 4k! Haha

The monitor? No. Your computer however, probably.

It does get warm; but not hot enough for me to be concerned

This monitor does seem to get much hotter than my other pc monitors, when compared to my asus and acer monitors.

Not really. I use mine in a colder office in my house and I don’t feel it emitting heat or anything. Even if I put my hand almost touching the screen it doesn’t feel too warm. Make sure to update the firmware to the latest version as they may have addressed heating issues in the past I’m unaware of.
