By the specifications, this card will be a few inches longer than the standard. You get 3x DisplayPort 1.4a which is the same as the reference, and an additional HDMI 2.1 over the reference card with just 1. The specifications for the core clock of this card is still TBD but it might have a higher clock speed than the reference, but its hard to say. Most AiB partners typically title there card with OC to let the buyer know that said card has a higher clock speed. Oh, and instead of the new 12 pin power connector, this card just has 2x 8 pins.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The standard reference 3080 is first party this is made by gigabyte the company that makes arous performance parts gigabyte is thier cheaper line. The reference will be very limoted stock and have mid tier silicon the founders has better silicon. This however has higher base and boost clocks and higher tdp than reference
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nothing but a better looking cooler might perform better wont know until release Rgb mabe a factory oc nvida one will have better binned chips So those will still clock higher
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nvidia created their own cooling design this time. It is not a reference design. This time the founders edition card might actually be able to cool as well as cards like the one you are asking the question about. To the other people claiming this card would be cooler have no proof. Reference designs always have lagged behind in cooling but like I stated earlier the Founder's Edition is not a "reference card". If I was you I would get the one that looks the best to you that is in your budget. Keep in mind on the founder's edition cards the cards require a special 12pin PCIE power connector (adapter for two 8-pin PCIe to 12pin PCIe is included in the box, albeit it is ugly to use) and the connector is in the middle of the card instead of near the right.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For the person who said "cooler than reference card." This is incorrect. The NVIDIA 3080 is not a reference card, this time NVIDIA made their own card. Other manufacture did not get any reference card to make their models.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Factory overclock and better cooling, worth the 50 imo
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. While this card has the same Nvidia chip, GIGABYTE takes care of everything else (design, cooling, performance, warranty, etc). Cards like these tend to cool a little better than the reference cards. They also tend to be clocked a little higher out of the box (nothing crazy).
