They can text any of the 10 contacts, but they will need to install the gizmo app. The texts go through the app. They can’t type messages. On the app you can add what messages you want to see on the phone. You can also record voice messages from the phone. I recommend you getting a screen protector. My son dropped his at School and broke the screen. So far I can’t find any replacement parts to fix it.

Please try again later.Yes, BUT only if the caregiver put you as “caregiver” or “guardian”, that way you can text, call and see location, otherwise you can be added in contact but will only be able to make call. Even you download the app, it wont let you text unless you are setup as one of those two.
