No, the PS5 disc will not work on the PS4. If you buy digitally from the PS Store, then you will have the option to download both versions of the game.

If you buy the PS5 version it will only work on a PS5. If you buy the PS4 version, the disc will work on a PS5 as well, but you will be playing the PS4 version and will need to pay an additional $10 fee to upgrade to the PS5 version (better graphics & framerate performance)
