• It plugs into the aux input, I used a 3.5mm to RCA adapter to connect with my receiver

• One end goes into the ChromeCast, the other into an AMP or Powered Speaker.

• The yellow cord takes audio coming out of the Chromecast, and sends it to an input jack for any kind of radio or stereo system you want to use as a speaker. The 3.5mm jack will work with a standard headphone connection, and adapters are very cheap to convert to white and red RCA connections or even a 3.5mm fiber optic adapter.
