He's right that it doesn't support iTunes -- but no problem. Download the free version of Google Play Music and it will grab all your iTunes library and load it into a Google cloud automatically. It will even grab new songs as you add them to iTunes. Then use the Play Music App on your Mini or Air to play your iTunes songs through Chromecast Audio. Works great. Nice interface too. The alternative is an App called Plex, which also works, but I like Play Music just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No iTunes is NOT supported on Chromecast. Apple would have to add support for Chromecast in iTunes and I really doubt that will happen. You do have another option, if you have a Google Account (gmail) you can use Google Music on your iPad Mini or MacBook Air. Google Music has an option where you can upload all your iTunes music to Google Music. I think you can upload like 50,000 songs for free.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry, as far as I know, you can't cast directly from iTunes to Chromecast...but you *can* use the Google Play Music Manager on a laptop to sync between Google Play Music and your iTunes library, which lets you cast everything in your library from any device (that's what I did).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it does not support itunes. Because Apple and Google are not very friendly, I do not think it will work with iTunes any time soon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.iTunes does not support the Chromecast (not the other way around). You would need to use a supported player, such as VLC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chromecast does not seem to support iTunes. iPhones and iPads use a different system: look at AirPlay compatible devices
