I think the mirror is in beta, but you can do so using the Chrome browser. The last time I used it, It was a little choppy, but worked.

Please try again later.It works with preinstalled apps like Netflix, hulu etc. Other than that, it's impossible to cast anything from my laptop screen or browser or vlc player etc. People have varying results though, there are online videos showing people casting desktops directly.
