Not really. I have a similar situation, and the solution is to change the Wi-Fi placement, or have a repeater installed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's possible that Chromecast can pick up a weaker WiFi signal than your TV can, or maybe not. Even if it does, that just means the Chromecast can receive its streams when the TV is not getting a strong enough signal to receive its streams. Chromecast does not relay a WiFi signal to the TV. It will not make the TV's WiFi features work any better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This isn't made to create a wifi connection to your TV. It provides you with a way to display media from your mobile device on your tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chromecast streams content from your mobile device/computer to the TV via the HDMI adapter. If you don't have good signal to the cell phone for example, you won't be able to stream it. Chromecast is different from Roku for example.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The Chrome Cast does not enhance the WiFi signal you have, it only connects to it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Chromecast is a completely separate device. It will not add to or aid in your TV's WiFi. Also if you have a week signal anyways you are going to have problems with this too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Device uses WIFI as a base for steaming. If you have low signal for your WIFI, it doesn't make any difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't notice much of a difference but I have good Internet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Chromecast dongle is a device on it's own, it has its own WiFi radio, independant of the WiFi adapter that the new TV may have. If the Chromecast has a better range than your TV, this might be misinterpreted as "the chromecast enhancing the WiFi signal" which is not the case. To be a cord-cutter you need a reliable WiFi connection, because the Chromecast and the phone you'll be using have to connected to the same network simultaneously in order to work. Also, with a weak WiFi signal, I'm not very confident that you'll have a seamless experience streaming content to your TV. If you have any questions, @JerryZaz on twitter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You might to consider a wi-fi signal booster. Best Buy has a bunch of them to use. It helped my uncle when he had the same problem for a tv in his room.
