This is a great option for your travels. I went from Washington, DC to Paris, France (with a day trip to London) for 2 weeks with my unlocked S8. Service was perfect. As soon as you put the card in it will register. It will ask you to restart your phone then it is working. Just be aware of the $/minute for the United States. I THINK for the US it is a flat $20 a month (no per minute rate). You can always cancel the service once you return and whatever days you didn't use will be credited on your bill. Hope this helps and happy travels!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Reach out to Google Fi for support by using their website and the chat feature but you can also click this link for their coverage map https://fi.google.com/about/coverage/. The Moto G6 Play was not designed for Fi Network which means those phones switch between the 3 Fi Networks being Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular but your phone with a Fi SIM card would be on the T-Mobile Network at a great price.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.US is not as easy to do temp service as Europe and other places. Google Fi is certainty a good option for temp service. However, you will need to have access to a US address (and possibly bank account) to start service as they are US based only at this time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s nice because it doesn’t lock you down to one carrier. If a dead spot from one it will pick up another.
