“what features work when it is out of range of the phone?”

• I've left my phone at home, when I went to work. Mine worked just fine. I work more than 15 miles from my home. At night when I went to look at my phone, as I always do, all the info. was there. So in my opinion, it works just fine without the phone.

• Our son doesn't have a phone with internet on it, therefore it does not accept phone messages while away from home and internet.
