• Those commenters are confused. I believe they have this outdoor model confused with the indoor only model.

• The original camera was indoor only. The newly released one is outdoor. The reviews may be for older camera.

• My nest cameras were set up outside and I have not had any problems whatsoever.

• These cameras are meant for outdoor and working pretty well for us (north west winters).
