“Can this be used as a game camera for birds and can a still picture be taken from the video feed?”

• If it is close enough, it would need to be within feet. This camera does not provide good enough video quality to have nice stills taken from feed. A squirrel about 15 feet away from my camera looks like a blur.

• Remember these require an electric outlet. I actually have one pointed at an area that has the occasional turkey wandering by. As for the stills it will only make short video clips. You will need to pay for a nest account to have ten days or longer storage. I have never tried but once you save a clip of video you can probably pull a still from it in an outside application.
