does it need WiFi for cloud recording ? null

as far as i know it needs wifi for any recording. If it isnt connected to wifi there is no way to view current or past video

Hi there, Ak. Yes, the Nest Cam Outdoor (Wired, 2nd Gen) needs to be connected to Wi-Fi to upload video to the cloud. If for some reason your device goes offline briefly, it has enough on-device storage to record up to one hour of events.
