I just installed one and the camera is held on by the magnet alone. There is a wire that you attach to it, and it can be held in place by a anti deterrent theft screw, but it is not the primary method for holding the camera.

You can use the small screw to attach to the cover plate, and the large screw to attach to the floodlight. Then use the hex key to secure the screws in place.

There is a hex screw that secured the flood to the mount, and a large hex screw that attached the camera to the flood. It is more of a "deterrent" than theft proof, but I used them anyway. The first screw is TINY! Don't drop it, you'll never find it! lol Must be why they include two.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Works very well, motion is great and floodlights are controlled by the camera, not a separate motion sensor, and I like that. Overall performance is good, and I am still playing with the settings and trying to adjust the angle. I am very disappointed that it only works with the Home app and not the Nest app. I really miss the web interface, and I haven't found a way to "schedule" the camera. I would like it to only be on during the evening until morning. Maybe there is a way, and I don't know. It is really a little expensive (I think) for what you get, but I'm overall happy with it.
