It uses ground wire from the junction box, white wire (neutral), and black wire (hot). Grounding wires are usually copper, green, or green and yellow. If you don’t find a wire, your junction box might have a grounding screw. - If you have a grounding wire, connect both wires with a wire nut. - If you have a grounding screw, connect the wire to the screw and tighten it.
