A:AnswerNo you can't. Google did away with the best Nest camera features after they bought them out. If I knew what I know now I would not have bought any of the "google nest" products.
A:AnswerNot sure about how big of an area I have it shinning on but it is big I have mine on a switch but if you turn it off it turns camera and lights off but why would you it can be programed with the google home app to do all sorts of stuff
A:AnswerIt doesn’t work with the Nest app. The Google app notification are pretty responsive. It’s easy to set up but not nearly as cool as the Nest app. The Google app shows all your cameras but you have to click on them to actually see through them. Ex: bedroom 1, downstairs, front door. Then you click on it to see video. Unlike the Nest app where you open the app and can see all the camera videos without clicking on one.
A:AnswerCorrect, you can still use the Nest app but not for this flood light. Sucks I know. You can only see the flood light through the Google app which is not nearly as cool.
A:AnswerWith your Nest Cam with floodlight you can select what triggers your lights to turn on. We recommend that you follow the steps on the link here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/10500343
A:AnswerI'm hoping the same but for now all there is are promises of this being a future feature. Google also has spoken as if in the meantime they planned on adding this camera to the Nest app for that feature.
A:AnswerMy back yard is approximately 75x 75. The camera can cover nearly all of it clearly although I focus closer to patio and door. Lights make a nearly as good a picture at night in color as daytime in the area around my patio
A:AnswerI'm running two of the Nest cams with flood without issue. Try deleting the one that works and then try adding the one you cannot connect. Not sure if there is a conflict happening. I added both of mine while I had them inside the house before mounting them outside. I take it doesn't matter how far you are from the wifi source that you're unable to connect?
