• Not necessarily. You may have the option to use Nest Cam (Battery) with Nest Cam Stand without the power cable.

• No. The stand can be unplugged. The 2021 Nest Cam indoor/outdoor cam can run on its internal battery while on this stand with the stand unplugged.
